Latest News XS Real's 'My Dream Room' contest gets young creative minds to work overtime

XS Real Properties, the originators of Bungalow Apartments and renowned for being one of the most ethical real estate companies in Chennai, today gave away the final set of prizes to the winners of the second edition of 'My Dream Room contest' at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ashok Nagar, Chennai.

Ms. N. Pavithra studying class XI in Kendriya Vidyalaya was judged the grand winner and had her dream room come alive as she had designed it. The runner up Ms. Mariana Chartian studying class X in Devi Academy went home with a Dell Laptop. In total 35 students from different schools won prizes such as Dell Notebook, Ipods, USB drives, Digi-cams, video games, school kits, bicycles, etc. The prizes were given away by Mr. G. Sudhakara Gupta, Director, XS Real Properties Pvt. Ltd.

'My Dream Room Contest' was conceived to encourage students imagine the environment they wanted to live in. It is also an opportunity for them to channelize their creative instincts and motivate them to dream higher and bigger. The contest was open to all students studying in classes VI to XII and there was an overwhelming response to the same.

"We are pleasantly surprised with the kind of creativity and innovation that has been exhibited by the young budding architects and designers" said G. Sudhakara Gupta, Director, XS Real Properties Pvt Ltd. He added "XS Real has always believed that creativity that emerges today is what shapes tomorrow's innovators, architects and designers. The creativity exhibited by these students are exemplary and we are sure that the next year's edition of the contest would throw more participants and more winners. This also gives us the motivation to develop futuristic concepts in designing living units in our projects."

With more than 1200 entries for the contest from 22 schools, the contest proved a real challenge for the young design aspirants by way of extolling them to come out with a unique theme and design for their rooms. The students really stood up to the challenge and exhibited their designing skills, coming out with some innovative and vibrant designs.
